Doctor Steven Sudbrink has been in private practice in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Lancaster, PA since 1993 and completed his surgical training in New York at the renowned LIJ Medical Center and its three affiliated hospitals. He received his Doctorate at Tufts University in Boston where he graduated Summa Cum Laude and Valedictorian. He practices at four office locations and local hospitals. Dr. Sudbrink is a Diplomate of three National Organizations, the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Board of Oral Implantology and Implant Dentistry, and the American Board of Dental Anesthesiology. He has special interest in CT technology, implantology, and advanced bone grafting techniques. Dr. Sudbrink lectures for Kodak, Materialise Dental, Imaging Sciences and other organizations and has published on the topic of CT guided surgery. He also consults with practices nationally on utilization of CT technology and is a cofounder of Practice Concepts, LLC.

After graduating from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Dr. Vakkas completed his Doctorate of Medicine and Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the prestigious Columbia University in New York, NY. In addition to his residency work at Columbia University, Dr. Vakkas has participated in humanitarian programs such as "Healing the Children" in Neiva, Columbia where he provided Cleft Lip and Palate surgical care and "Healthcare International" in May Pen, Jamaica providing dental services to the underprivileged. Dr. Vakkas is actively certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Advanced Trauma Life Support. He is also fluent in Greek and Spanish.
Outside the office, Dr. Vakkas enjoys basketball, tennis, and golf.

The surgical staff is experienced, certified, oral and maxillofacial surgical assistants, who assist in administration of anesthesia and in surgery. Licensed nurses will assist you with questions regarding medications, treatment, and postoperative care. All team members are capable of answering or finding answers to all your questions. We also have a Certified Professional Coders (CPC) on staff to insure that patients get maximum compensation from their health insurance providers.
