i-CAT Ct Scanner

At Sudbrink oral surgery we are utitilizing and taking advantage of the enormous advancements of our new i-CAT ct scanner. The i-CAT™ gives specialists and dentists the most complete information about the anatomy of a patient’s face, teeth, jaws, and sinuses, which leads to the most accurate treatment and predictable outcomes for patients’ surgical procedures. Now, patients who visit Dr.Sudbrink practice will benefit from the most advanced 3-D dental imaging technology.

They are now using Imaging Sciences’ i-CAT™ as part of their full scope oral surgery practice, including dental implants; bone reconstruction/grafting; pathology; screenings for infections; and TMJ evaluation. “Simply put, the i-CAT™ dramatically advances patient care,” says Dr. Sudbrink. “It greatly enhances our ability to accurately prepare treatment plans for dental implant cases. Important anatomic structures can be precisely identified and exploratory surgeries are no longer necessary. Exact implant location and implant dimension can be determined pre- operatively, allowing for a much more controlled and precise surgical procedure.
